1. Acceptance of Terms

By using GikFoods, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. For Food Entrepreneurs

Service Fees

GikFoods charges 15% commission on all orders. Ghost kitchen costs and delivery platform fees apply separately and are your responsibility.

Food Safety & Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your food business complies with all local, state, and federal food safety regulations. You must obtain proper licenses and certifications.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your recipes, but grant GikFoods a non-exclusive license to use your content to provide services and improve our AI.

Prohibited Activities

  • • Selling unlicensed or unsafe food
  • • Misrepresenting your brand or products
  • • Fraudulent payment or delivery practices
  • • Harassment or abuse of customers
  • • Violation of intellectual property rights

3. For Ghost Kitchen Partners

Partnership Agreement

Ghost kitchen partnerships are governed by separate partnership agreements. GikFoods manages brand matching and order coordination.

Kitchen Standards

All partner kitchens must maintain health and safety standards, equipment cleanliness, and proper food storage. Regular inspections may be conducted.

4. Orders & Deliveries

Order Confirmation

You are responsible for confirming orders within specified timeframes. Late confirmations may result in order cancellation or penalties.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 24 hours of order placement for cancelled or unfulfilled orders. No refunds for delivered orders unless the food is unsafe or significantly misrepresented.

Delivery Responsibility

You are responsible for proper food packaging and temperature maintenance during delivery. GikFoods is not liable for delivery delays caused by external factors.

5. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will first be addressed through our support team. If unresolved within 30 days, matters will proceed to mediation or arbitration as per applicable laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

GikFoods is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of our platform.

7. Termination

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Food safety violations, fraudulent activity, or non-compliance with regulations will result in immediate termination.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Significant changes will be communicated 30 days in advance.
